APPROVAL MATRIX

Make the release gate
explicit.

Define which approvals this job actually requires, record their state and expose any pending or rejected required gate to Operations. The matrix organizes sign-off evidence without pretending to authenticate a legal signature.

01 · APPROVAL GATES

Required sign-offs

Each gate can be required, optional or explicitly not required. A required Pending or Rejected gate blocks the local release signal.

PENDING

Complete the required gates.

Approval names and notes are stored locally in this browser.

Approval discipline

A checkbox becomes useful only when its authority and scope are clear.

Required is job-specific

A personal photo print may not need commercial approval. A client campaign may require artwork, proof, quantity, commercial and delivery approval from different people. Set the gates deliberately.

Rejected is not pending

A rejection records a decision that something must change. Keep that state visible until the revised evidence is approved rather than silently returning the gate to blank.

Local approval is a record

Entering an approver name in this browser does not authenticate identity or create a legal signature. Export the matrix into the project record when formal traceability matters.
