Height and weight both limit layers

The planner chooses the smaller layer count allowed by loaded height and maximum gross weight. It includes pallet tare in the gross-weight limit.

Regular grid only

Mixed orientations, brick patterns, overhang and interlocking can change cartons per layer. The tool intentionally reports a simple inspectable grid rather than claiming an optimized freight pattern.

Compression matters

Carton strength, edge crush, product fragility, wrap and transport conditions can limit stacking below the geometric maximum. Confirm the physical packing specification.
