A profile is only as trustworthy as the source specification behind it.
PPI logic is intentionally conservative
The matrix checks whether the job target is at least the provider profile’s minimum accepted PPI. A printer may also specify a preferred or maximum useful resolution outside this simplified gate.
Formats are explicit strings
Accepted formats are normalized from the comma-separated profile. PDF presets, PDF/X versions, color profiles and transparency rules still belong in the detailed Specification Profile or provider instructions.
